HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE FOR YOUR TEACHING SERVICES?
The price for lessons are £24 per 30 minute lesson, £34 per 45 minute lesson, and £42 per 60 minute lesson.
WHERE DO YOU HOLD YOUR LESSONS?
Lessons are held at my studio in Leatherhead (KT22), full address confirmed once booked.
HOW OLD DO YOUÂ HAVE TO BE TO START FLUTE LESSONS?
Flute can be begun at any age. There are several options for young beginners who are too small to hold a full size instrument which include fife or a flute with a curved headjoint.
BESIDES FLUTE, DO YOU TEACH ANY OTHER INSTRUMENTS OR MUSIC THEORY?
In addition to flute, I also teach piano and music theory. Music theory is taught alongside instrumental lessons, but can also be taught as separate lessons.
WHAT EXAMINATION BOARD DO YOU USE?
I primarily use and reccomend Trinity, but have taken several students through ABRSM, and am happy to do so if requested.
WHAT ARE YOUR POLICIES ON PAYMENT?
Lessons must be paid for at the beginning of the month. Lessons can be paid monthly or termly. The most acceptable payment method is by bank transfer. I do not accept cash or cheque.
WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL A LESSON?
Lessons must be cancelled with 24 hours notice to qualify for either a make up lesson or for the payment of the lesson to be rolled over into the following month/term. The lesson will be cancelled without make up if it is less than 24 hours.
WHAT IS THE NOTICE PERIOD FOR DISCONTINUING LESSONS?
I require 6 weeks notice for discontinuing lessons (roughly half a term).
